Before you continue to the step, make sure that your iDevice is in iOS 7.1 or at 7.1.1, and better to be installed from your itunes rather than ota update. And one more thing guys, this method is will be worked for all iDevice that has iOS 7.1 or 7.1.1
Okay guys, here is the step
Thing that you will need
- You'll need the software, for that you’ll need to head over to pangu.io Or you can follow these link download for windows to download the jailbreak tool. At the moment, it’s only available for Windows, but there is a “Mac OS” button so it’s possible this version will be released in the near future. The software itself is about 79.5 mb, in case if you worried about the size of the file.
- An iOS 7.1 - 7.1.1 devices. In my tutorial I use my iPhone 4s
And here is the step
- First you'll need to backup your phone, in case something going wrong
- Open the software, and make sure that your phone is detected[looking at the top of the software]
- Uncheck the option box to make sure that no additional software is installed beside the cydia itself.
- After that, you'll need to click to the black pill shaped button to begin the process.
- You'll notice that the software is telling you to change the date on your phone to June, 2nd 2014.Go and change it so it will be look like the picture.
- The software will continue their process till the bar stopped about quarter or half of the process[mine is about a quarter].you'll need to check at your phone and tap the pangu application to process it. Just open it then tap continue and the process will be continued. This process will take about 5 - 10 minute, just sit and wait and better dont touch the phone while the process going.
- Once the jailbreak has completed and your device has finished rebooting, you’ll have the ability to launch Cydia to prepare the file system and begin installing tweaks.
I think that pretty much it from me, my device now is jailbroken and maybe later I'll tell you what tweak I used most. If you had any trouble please let me know by contacting or commenting in this blog. Big regards from me @ngakanasp :) Oh, and I had a lot of new photos that I want to share, but I think I'll tell you later.
